Standard specifies a generic, permanent telecommunications cabling system and provides specifications for the following recognized cabling media
Standard includes an informative annex with data centre availability tiers.
A standard to the equipment room requirements includes, but are not limited to, fire suppression, humidity levels, operating temperatures, architectural, electrical (power) and mechanical system specifications.
